Vanvora is a software consultancy for the businesses that fall through the gap: too specific for off-the-shelf products, too small to have ever been sold anything properly built.
There is a particular kind of business we kept meeting. It has grown past the point where a spreadsheet is sensible, it runs on four tools that do not talk to each other, and every product it has evaluated wants it to work the vendor's way instead of its own. So the gaps get filled by people: someone re-types the same details, someone remembers to chase, someone builds the monthly report by hand.
That arrangement is not free. It costs hours every week, it breaks the moment one person is away, and it quietly caps how large the business can get before the admin becomes the job. Nobody chose it. It accumulated, one reasonable decision at a time.
Meanwhile the software that would fix it is treated as something only large companies get to have. We do not think that is true any more, and closing that gap is the whole reason we exist.
What being AI-first honestly means
It does not mean answering every problem with AI. A company that does that is not AI-first, it is selling one product.
AI is genuinely excellent at a narrow set of things that happen to be common in small businesses: producing a first draft, pulling structure out of messy documents, making a pile of text searchable. We reach for it there, and we reach for ordinary well-understood engineering everywhere else, because most of the recoverable hours in a typical business are not an AI problem at all. They are plumbing.
Being AI-first means being able to tell you which is which, and having the discipline to recommend the cheaper, duller option when it is the better one. It also means one boundary we do not move: AI drafts, a person approves, before anything reaches your customer.

Your data is exportable in a standard format at any time. The source code of what we build for you is yours, documented and handed over. We would rather earn the next project than rely on you being unable to leave.

A price that does not move
Every engagement is quoted in writing and itemised by module before work starts. If scope changes, you get a revised quote to approve first. There is no invoice you did not see coming.

You can see progress without asking
Clients get a login showing live project status, what is in flight, what is done, and every quote and invoice. You never have to send an email asking where things are.

A human approves anything that matters
Automation handles the mechanical work. Judgement stays with your team. AI drafts, a person approves before anything reaches your customer, and every automated action is logged.

We will tell you not to buy
If an off-the-shelf product genuinely fits your process, we will say so and help you set it up properly. If your workflow is broken, we fix that before automating it, because automating a broken process just produces the wrong answer faster.

No jargon, ever
Decisions are explained in terms of what changes for your business. You will never be asked to choose between technical options you have no basis to judge.
Who we are useful to
Businesses between roughly five and a hundred people, where an owner or operator still has visibility of how the work actually gets done. That matters more than the sector, because the person we need in the room is the one who knows why the process is the way it is.
